The pirate class has officially been deemed the Cursed Captain class, and while Torchlight 3's Sharpshooter class can often have a pirate-esque look to it, the Cursed Captain class brings the aesthetics to a whole new level.

That's why I tried to search on google about using PS3 controller to play Torchlight 2. Although I don't (have time to) play game much these days, I still like using the controller more than keyboard and mouse.

In the developer's blog post from a few days ago, Echtra Games states that it expects the newest update, including the new pirate class, to come out in roughly a month and a half. The whimsical universe of Torchlight is back in Torchlight III Its been over a hundred years since the events of Torchlight II, where the great heroes of Torchlight defeated The Dark Alchemist. The third installment of the series expanded some of the multiplayer functionality of its predecessors, though dropped its initial plans of becoming a massively multiplayer online game.
It seems developers Echtra Games are not content with the existing class options, however, as the studio is adding a brand new pirate class to the RPG dungeon crawler in a future update.įor the uninitiated, Torchlight 3 was released on Jfollowing the success of Torchlight and Torchlight 2. Torchlight 3 has a number of different character classes there's the Sharpshooter and Railmaster classes, the Dusk Mage class, and the sometimes confusing Forged class.
